Today is World Malaria Day.

Malaria is an infectious disease that infects about 250 million people and kills about 620,000 people worldwide.

The GHIT Fund supports the development of therapeutics, diagnostics, and vaccines to combat infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, malaria, and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) that threaten developing countries.

We will continue to connect Japanese and overseas partners such as pharmaceutical companies, universities, and research institutes in Japan through partnerships to fight against infectious diseases.
