Support the Fight against
Neglected Infectious Diseases
through the Furusato Nozei System

The GHIT Fund is dedicated to developing new treatments, vaccines, and diagnostic tools for neglected infectious diseases—including malaria, tuberculosis, and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs)—which together affect more than a billion people worldwide. We strive to achieve health equity for all. The GHIT Fund is an eligible organization for “Group Support Donations” under Minato Ward’s Furusato Nozei (Hometown Tax) System. This means you can support GHIT, a public interest foundation, through this system.
These donations are used responsibly to support our activities, including research and development of new treatments, vaccines, and diagnostics for infectious diseases that are widespread in developing countries.
Please note:
The Furusato Nozei (Hometown Tax) System is a unique Japanese program that allows individuals who
pay taxes in Japan to make donations to local governments of their choice. This system is only
available to individuals who are residents of Japan and pay Japanese taxes. If you do not pay taxes
in Japan, you are not eligible for the tax benefits associated with this program.
