GHIT Fund Expands Individual Donation Opportunities to Accelerate Global Health Impact

The GHIT Fund is pleased to share that we have made supporting global health innovation more accessible than ever before. We have strengthened our donation platform by establishing comprehensive systems to accept individual contributions through furusato nozei (hometown tax donations), as well as legacy and planned giving options and direct personal donations from supporters.

For individual residents of Japan who pay Japanese taxes, we now offer the opportunity to support GHIT through the furusato nozei system, allowing you to direct your personal tax contributions toward global health innovation while receiving associated tax benefits. We also welcome individual contributions in Japanese Yen through our newly established personal donation channels and legacy giving options prepared in accordance with Japanese legal requirements.

To facilitate these individual giving opportunities, we have launched a dedicated website specifically designed for personal donors. Whether you're establishing a planned legacy contribution or making a direct individual gift, our new platform makes it simple for individuals to support our mission of developing life-saving treatments for neglected infectious diseases, tuberculosis, and malaria.

Your personal support directly funds critical research partnerships between Japanese and global organizations, accelerating the development of medical interventions that serve the world's most vulnerable populations. When combined, individual contributions can truly change the world and advance global health innovation in amazing ways, bringing us closer to our vision of a world free from infectious diseases of poverty.

We invite you to explore our new individual donation website and consider joining our community of personal supporters in transforming global health outcomes.
