We have published an interview video with Dr. Masahiro Kajihara, Associate Professor at the International Institute for Zoonosis Control, Hokkaido University. Dr. Kajihara was a speaker at the GHIT R&D Forum 2024, held in December 2024.

Dr. Kajihara is engaged in research on viruses and other pathogens with the potential to cause pandemics as part of efforts to prepare for future outbreaks. In the interview, he discusses the challenges he faces in his research, the strengths he recognized as a Japanese researcher during his five years working in Zambia, and what he hopes to pursue in the future.
