The Global Health Innovative Technology (GHIT) Fund today announced the appointment of Dr. Philip Jordan as a new member of the institution’s Selection Committee (SC), which evaluates investment proposals and reports from development partners and makes investment recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Dr. Jordan joined the Wellcome in 2016 and worked in a number of roles, the most recent of which was Partner of Innovations, to build and lead strategic R&D initiatives and to develop and commercialize healthcare technologies through investing in and managing global R&D programs with pharma, biotech, and academia.

Dr. Jordan is currently a Principal Licensing & Ventures Manager at the Oxford University Innovation. His in-depth knowledge and diversified background, ranging from investment and management experience in R&D programs to diagnostics development, will be an outstanding contribution to the project implementation of the GHIT Fund.
