GHIT Certified As A Public Interest Incorporated Association

June 1, 2014 The Global Health Innovative Technology (GHIT) Fund is pleased to announce its certification as a public interest incorporated association (koeki shadan hojin), by the Cabinet Office of Japan.

This status is comparable to that of a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax exempt organization in the United States.

“The GHIT Fund is committed to facilitating international partnerships that enable Japanese technology, innovation, and insight to play a vital role in the global fight against infectious diseases,” said GHIT Fund CEO BT Slingsby.

“This certification represents an endorsement of the Government of Japan for the GHIT Fund’s contributions to the greater public good.”
