GHIT R&D Forum GHIT’s R&D Forum will take place on December 8th in Tokyo, Japan.
Since its inception as Japan’s flagship global health R&D fund, GHIT has facilitated international product development partnerships between Japanese and non-Japanese entities with the goal of leveraging Japan’s unique capabilities and innovations to accelerate global health innovation. To date, GHIT’s investment programs have engaged over 40 Japanese organizations and over 50 non-Japanese organizations.
The 200-person R&D Forum on December 8th will create opportunities for GHIT’s development partners to share project overviews, R&D progress to date, and lessons learned over the past five years. The event offers unique opportunities to engage with scientists and experts across a multitude of organizations, as well as develop new partnerships to further build our community and accelerate global health R&D.
We will convene 5 sessions covering topics from discovery to development, with a format that combines interactive discussion and research presentations. Participants include representatives from product development partnerships, academicians, industry executives, researchers, and government officials. Proceedings will be conducted in English.
